“When You Hurt the One You Love, You Are Bound To Hurt Yourself”
Maruthu is head over heels in love with Jayanthi. There is no question about that. But how should we define his indifference towards her? The oasis he saw in his life is now seemingly threatening to reduce itself as a mere mirage. He feels so. His delusion is saddening, his indifference is more saddening.
Jayanthi has wholly firmly moulded herself to live life for Maruthu and with Maruthu. She has realized now that living life, finding happiness, being in love, being in the moment, staying committed, cherishing the memories are her way of life and all of those of hers lies with Maruthu and she is truly happy and content about it.
But, the child woman she is, just once earlier missed it to realize herself and is now costing her love, life and happiness. She feels. Her self-pity is hurting. Her insecurities more hurting.
Will Maruthu realize his oasis is a perennial element in his life? Will Jayanthi rise and shine to bring back her old Maruthu?
