Nice.The best decision that Sarada has taken is to move away from her in laws house and take things in to her hand.Her health setback atleast gave her time to introspect and take a right decision.Otherwise Kausalya would have driven her in to having a guilt complex..
The way you have described Sarada’s visit to her former home were really emotionally wrenching.With no elders for moral support.the pain she felt was very evident in your writing.If she were a little humane,Kausalya would have accompanied her.Instead she is adding to Sarada’s woes by hinting as it it was Sarada’s fault.
There is no need for Kausalya to think as a mother to her but after seeing the injustice/Pain meted out by her son she would have felt ashamed if not indignant and disown her son
