Easy Kambu Dosai Recipe

This is a hands-on recipe when you have less dosa batter. Easy and quite tasty too. With millet coming in, makes it a very healthy breakfast dish. It goes along with any chutney.

Dosa batter – 1 cup

Pearl millet – 1/2 cup

(Even if taken a little less, not going to make much difference)

Rava/Sooji – 1/4 cup

salt – only if needed (when the dosa batter is less salty)

oil – as needed for making dosas

Method

1. Grind pearl millet (kambu) to a more or less fine powder.

2. Add the kambu flour and rava to the dosa batter.

3. Mix them all well. Add salt only if you need, or if the salt in the batter is less.

4. Pour little water to get the dosa batter consistency.

5. Make dosas as you would normally make. Can be made as uthappams also.
